That would be a great pizza pan! I wonder if you could make paella in it?! I imagine it was used for campfire use (by a large troop!) or a restaurant. Bea-U-tiful piece!

in a $500/$1000 pan brand new unused pan, i think not. it's a museum piece. perhaps a 1000 or less in existence.

wow. my biggest piece is 15'' across the top but only 12.5'' across the bottom. i got it at walmart 2 years ago for $16! i shoulda bought 3 of them. i like the room to cook anything from frying some potatoes on one spot, a pancake in another and a couple eggs beside all that. i can only use it on the top of my woodstove or over a campfire, the stove burners are way too small. it's like having a restaurant griddle out in the woods.

at 20'' it won't fit in my oven and allow the door to close. he could season it over a campfire or outdoor grill. since it is quite a rarity, and looks never used, i wouldn't touch it with anything other than some oil to guard off oxidation and hang it up. doing anything else would likely kill the value.

@@cynthiawesley2318 Cynthia I got my ebelskiver today. Little surface rust on the bottom and plenty of caked on grease on top. Overall looks good no cracks. I'll have to buy more lye for the tank. Lye has gotten so expensive.

That isn't half bad for that piece. I would think anything under $750 would be good. I had never seen a jumbo BSR. I restored a similar piece for a lady it was a Griswold 22" hotel skillet. That was just about the largest piece I'm able to restore.

It’s ginormous. Turn on all the burners or a big outdoor grill. Big old Hotel pan! Better reinforce your wall to hang that bugger!
