Castle and Beckett's wedding was so perfect. The vows were so amazing and true to character. Beckett and Castle have overcome so much individually and together as friends, partners and lovers. There isn't anything that they can't overcome as long as they are together. Castle taught Beckett to believe in fate, magic and to look forward to all the adventures that tomorrow will bring. We waited 7 and a half seasons for this one moment and I have to say, it was absolutely perfect. I actually cried when they were saying their vows and a montage of their years together went through my mind. Ugh, Castle and Beckett will forever be my most favorite couple. They are completely magical together and I really hope next on the agenda is little writers and cops running around :)

I'm real happy for them. This is exactly how I want to get married some day. At the end of the day all that matters to Richard is Kate and all that matters to Kate is Richard. Nobody else needed to be there outside of those who were to make it perfect. Their vows were awesome. Emotion stricken words in every line. You just couldn't help but feel the sincerity of their love and all 10 million of us that watched this show witnessed a real gem....beauty unfolded. Thanks Rick and Kate, for the time of our lives!!! I agree that at the end of the day, the person you're marrying is all that matters, but see it from the perspective of the people that are close to you and care about you, they'd want to share their joy with you and be apart of one of the most important moments in your life, so not inviting Lanie, Ryan and Espo was kind of selfish.

JaneyAusten As I already said here. I don't think at all that it is selfish. Lanie ok, you could have invited her, Ryan maybe. But why should they, and in particular Castle, invite Esposito. The way he has been treating Castle is not exactly like a good friend. I wouldn't want such a person at my wedding either. You said they want to share their joy, well if I see how Esposito acted then I don't think so. He was already being weird to Castle before he dissapeared. Esposito is supposed to be his friend, but he had no trust in Castle what so ever. And that while Castle even made him his best man. Why should he want a person at his wedding who calls himself a friend, but does not act like one.

There is no good or bad way to celebrate your wedding. Everyone wants their wedding in a different way, and you should make people decide for themselves. You do not need to look at how other people around you will feel about it, as long as you are happy with how the wedding went then it is fine. Apparently Castle and Kate liked their wedding like this, otherwise they wouldn't have done it. And then they do not have to think about how their friends will feel, because it is not their wedding. And again, in my opinion it is not selfish to not invite for example Esposito who has been acting as anything but a good friend to Castle. A lot of people around me got married. From friends to family. One had a big wedding in a church with hundreds of people, the other married in city hall without even their parents, the other went to city hall and only picked up a paper and went in jeans, and yes I also had a nephew who married with only their parents present. There is no type of wedding that is good or bad. As long as the people that get married feel that it is the happiest day of their lives.

This was far beyond what I could have ever imagined. It was sweet, romantic, touching, classy and simple! The vows were beautiful and to the point...no filler or anything unnecessary. I loved the whole backdrop, the rings, the dance...all of it! After seeing all those sneak peeks about the episode and then seeing the entire episode complete, it is now one of my top 5 faves. They touched on so many different parts from the very beginning of the series and tied it up beautifully. Great job by the entire cast and crew of Castle...they did not disappoint me one bit. Thank you for taking us on such an amazing journey with you. Sometimes I wish I could rewatch the entire series all over again for the very first time! I love this fandom 😘

Beautiful scene! The simple casual yet elegant wedding attire is stunning, I love the lace top with pants and the bow at the back, and the fact that Castle is wearing open collar. It's original and not cliche with a big white wedding dress and suits. The vows were PERFECT. Bottom line - I will forever be crying over this scene. Terri is a genius!

This episode was awesome! THEY ARE FINALLY MARRIED!!! You know, people say that's when shows get weak---when the writers marry the show's main characters, but I don't believe so. At least not for this show. I think the chemistry is what makes this unique and there can be many more stories told with them and I can't wait to find out. With that being said, I DON'T WANT TO WAIT ANOTHER DAMN WEEK TO GET MY CASTLE FIX! I love this show!! Btw, I've played 7x07 promo at least 20 times already. Also, it would have been amazing if she somehow read the letter she wrote to him back in 6x17. I don't know if CSU ever swept that place she was held in, but it would have been a beautiful touch. Nevertheless, phenomenal episode!

Green Screen is a technique used in shooting scenes when you want to alter the background. You actually perform it in front of a green screen and the background is put afterwards. You can see here that the background looks made up and it's not actually shot in Hamptons. Hence, it's not in a particular second but in the whole scene that it is used. :)

For some strange reason I'm more happy for Jim Beckett than the newlyweds. Don't get me wrong, I am sooooo happy for them but Jim watching his only daughter, whose life was all about her job, finding love and getting married is so heartwarming and sweet. As for only the immediate family attending the wedding.......they are the BEST kind of weddings. There is no pressure since they are the only people who will always love and be there for you no matter what. Friends come and go but family is forever.

Never thought in my wildest dreams that I would become so invested in a TV program. I remember a time when we didn't even have TVs and lord knows I've watched thousands of different programs and never gave any of them much thought. From the very first day there was something special, magical about the relationship of Rick and Kate, something that kept us all coming back to see the story grow. This was their special day, and it was kind of like watching members of my family find their hearts desire. May they solve many more mysteries together.
