Gaw I wish if ONE thing could surface about the show is whether or not Stana and Nathan actually were at odds with eachother during the later seasons. I just want to believe they have something of a friendly relationship. This show became one of my quick favorites after a few days of watching.

If I have to choose between Beckett and Lisbon I will choose Beckett.. Beckett and Castle, even if they argue a lot, they solved cases together. Beckett has a brain...Lisbon always wait for Jane to give her the solution...

100% agree, though I loved The Mentalist. Beckett and Castle had far better intellectual/mental chemistry. They're on the exact same wavelength, thinking the same thoughts, finishing each other's sentences, finding the answer at the same instant. Their "shared brain thing" as Lanie put it. I'd actually say that Castle and Beckett's arguing was integral to their success at solving cases. Beckett never hesitated to challenge Castle's ideas head on and engage in theoretical debates with him with the goal of finding the solution in the process, rather than cautiously trusting his ideas and relying on him to solve the case for her like Lisbon. Lisbon's adorable of course, and a perfect foil for Jane. But I agree; as a crime solving partner, Beckett would definitely be the better go to. She's well balanced being both independent and an active participant, and she's not afraid to rip apart theories on her own to find the truth. Plus, Castle and Beckett debating and building theories together, jumping in on each other's sentences, and solving the case in sync, is just... *_*chef's kiss*_* It's like intellectual foreplay.

I agree, I’d choose Beckett over Lisbon too. But in Lisbon’s defense, I think Jane was just written to be way more perceptive than Castle will ever be. Jane can even tell if somebody’s lying right away, hypnotize witnesses, manipulate people and sets up traps for the criminals. Because of his skills that Lisbon has become way too dependent on him in closing their cases.
