The Castle Creations Cobra 8 is the first of a new generation ESC's made by the Olathe, Kansas based manufacturer with over 25 years of experience in delivering record setting electronics for the Radio Control market. The Cobra 8 is their first ESC to feature a 32-biys Dual Core processor which opens up a ton of possibilities compared to its predecessor. Eight times more datalogging room, an increased datalogging frequency, ample room for future features and updates to be added, an all-new Castle Link system which allows you to set the Cobra 8 up to your preference and much more. Some awesome key components from earlier Castle Creations products have made it to the Cobra 8, and are combined in one product for the first time EVER! For example, the auxiliary wire, which allows you to reach certain predetermined setting from your radio. im confused about the 40% more capacitance to reduce "ripple" voltage..... what? Its a DC battery on a DC system. there better not be ripple... at all! So much of this appears to be pure snake oil and fancy words
