Awesome V-Log Luke! I went last year for the first time and saw Sanok, Krakow, Bialystok, Zakopane, Ogrodzieniec, Wieliczka, Waszawa, Lodz, Gdansk. Wawel Castle is very cool. Check out the Salt Mine in Wieliczka, Castle at Ogrodzieniec (you can do archery there and there is rides) and Zakopane if you get a chance! Poland is awesome! I'm sure you are loving the exchange rate too!

I see you like castles :P check Malbork Castle. The biggest castle in the World !! btw some tip about pronunciation of Wawel - the royal castle. The simplest way of good pronunciation is "vavel", because W in Polish language is pronounced like V in English :)

walk to KAZIMIERZ jewish district (close from center) and eat in 'Hamsa'; Visit salt mine in Wieliczka city (tours from Krakow) and check the cat-cafe near Krakow's city center - if u r not alergic (Krowoderska 48 street). It would be so nice for your vlog. And after Krakow , by the same bus company (Polskibus), - TRAVEL TO ZAKOPANE! for two days. You Are very close to incredible photogenic mountain scenery. If the weather be fine - you will make awesome shots ...and actually, let us all know here in comments (or next vlog) where r you planing to hit. We could share 4 u some worth to see tips in advance. Hidden stories, parties, concerts, everyday crazy events... warsaw especially is full of it during june-august 'Summer in the City' time. Hidden diamonds that poor guidebooks didn't mention. Its 70% of total of best stuff in polish cities i think good luck

So American, lol! But... This is exactly I think what we need to attract American tourists. "Speaking the language" is not only vocabulary. It what you do, which is knowing your audience, building a cultural connection, etc. I'll be coming back to Kraków after 20 years in USA and back to work in tourism most likely. Vlogs like your will make my job easier. Also any GSM phone and Sim card from any EU coutry will work all over in EU. sorry if I'm repetitious with information, but I have not had a chance to go through most of your videos yet. Greetings from Wisco!

I enjoy to watch you enjoying my home city and guiding around! :-D Be brave to taste the Polish cuisine - eat potato pancakes (placki ziemniaczane) with meat and sour cream sauce. Try some Polish wild meat dishes, they are typical mainly just for Poland - in the West eaten just by the royals. The food of the poor tastes good - zapiekanka, hot bread with champignons and cheese, something we ate since the communist occupation of Poland. If you will drink some wine to your food - choice the Hungarian, it's typical Polish to do it. We have many sorts of good beer too. I wonder why you did not came to the courtyard at Wawel Castle. Have you seen the Cathedral inside? There is a fascinating Cathedral Museum by side and just few know about it. :-)

It's nice to just have a walk and be in some places without really playing a turist. I think Kraków has the unique atmosphere of the very old place, where you can relax and loosen up a little. At least I feel this way when I am there. However it is still a little disappointing that you really haven't seen anything of the Wawel Castle Luke :( You haven't even entered into the Castle itself (Wawel is pronounced Vavel. In Polish w stands for v sound). You went right by the Wawel's cathedral with tombs of all Polish Kings where the Sigismund's chapel with golden roof is. Other buildings who are on the perimeter of the hill are not the castle or part of it. Only this big white building where you stopped to snack is an actual external wall of the castle itself. Btw, the gold on the chapel is original and was not robbed by Germans during occupation because it was painted green and they thought it was just rusty copper roof. Below you, there was a dragon lair in a cave (can be visited) and the statue of the dragon spewing fire each 5 minutes at the Vistula bank.

Hey man! Great vlogs, I watched like ten episodes at once! I got a tip for you: in Poland we read "w" as your "v". So try to pronounce wawel as "vavel" ;) also when you see "ł" letter - don't be scared. It's pronounced as your "w"

You are not very smart, are you? It is characteristic of many muslims. You said "they are racist because muslims are not welcome there". Your "religion" of peace is not welcome anywhere. Specialy in Poland. What it has to do with race? Same as another murderous ideologies like Nazi-sm, communism, marxism, socialism, "holocaustianism" they are not a race.
