CASTLE GONDUIN: Castle Player Home!!- Xbox Modded Skyrim Mod Showcase

There’s so much more to Gonduin than what you showed. You can select a statue from a multitude, including Alduin and Ysgamor, to place in to the centerpiece when you first enter the castle. You can change the banners to whatever you want. All of the guards armor can be customized (although I’ve noticed an issue where they revert back to their default armor whenever you use the teleportation spell that’s given to you to warp directly in to the castle). You even earn some money from the businesses in the castle. It’s also beautifully designed. If this castle were to be sieged in real life it would last a long time. In my opinionated the best home mod out there. Compact, aesthetically pleasing, and gives a lot of control to the player.

I love how they utilized the drawbridge that was only ever used once in the Battle for Whiterun, as well as how effectively you can lock down sections of the castle.

We need an AE revamp of this. Easier/more secure guard customizing, like sjel blad where there are mannequins for males/females/arhcers/mages. So whatever is equipped consistently applies to all. The treasure room be dynamic like Valsteinn. The whole rooms acts like a gated container. The more you add, the more it visually populates. Updated AE displays and perhaps fish tanks, etc. Would also be sick to see it swapped with Dawnguard castle architecture!

From all the player home mod i tired this one is the nicest , not too big , not too small , just perfect , it watches over riverwood , nice followers and waymore , but..... I had to delete it because even after i fixed my load order i often encountered game crash , wich ruin the game experience ( im on xbox) Fast traveling to riverwood become impossible at some point , i had to use the secret teleport spell to get to the castle rapidly, Last thing it is not family friendly, so you cant really bring your wife and children there .

Keezy Mtl It must’ve been a compatibility issue. I’ve used Gonduin for a while and it’s never crashed on me.

I have the same problem with crashes and same when fast travel to riverwood, so sad i love this Castle 😭

I still think Dragon Cliff Manor is the best. It has a dragon guarding your s**t, it has a great view from the north east side of the throat of the world, and it has a family friendly version too, so you can adopt kids and move them there. Haven't had a single issue with it either. I use Tarshana's LO, and I play on Xbox, by the way.

@@steampunkwardyn Here's an update: A while later, the game started crashing sometimes upon entering Dragon Cliff Manor. It really bummed me out because I really liked it. Ended up eventually moving everything out so I didn't lose all my stuff. I'd probably avoid it.

Is anybody else crashing when entering some rooms throughout the castle? For example I crash leaving the castle apothecary, I crashed entering the Throne room, I crashed entering the lords chambers in the throne room.... I’m at a loss for words I completely reworked my load order uninstalled the mod tried both the quest and just getting the home furnished by default and I still get the crashes !!?

I got the castle, but deleted it again as it stood in my way for Upper Embershard Mine where I had to go to finish the Helgen Reborn quest. I didn't like it anyway, there was this stupid dog which kept barking all the time... There is also a secret behind one of the closets in the enchanting-room!

Dylan Cerio nope sadly you have to go one at a time which is a huge nuisance but the castle is worth it in my opinion

For me the guards change back to their original armor when i leave the Castle to do quest or what so ever and when i came back all the guards changed back to the Solitude armor :(

Ryantium I love your videos! BUT, I spend HOURS scrolling through your player home videos trying to find a suitable home that can support the multiple adoptions mod (5-6 beds), along with some follower beds. It would be great if you could mention if the player homes are compatible with multiple adoptions/multiple followers. I understand you sometimes are first checking out the home while recording, but maybe mention it in the comments? I don't know(,: I'm not trying to be rude, I absolutely love your videos and how your present them
