Agreed, everytime I listen to it it reminds me of memories that are sad and of times to come that I don't want to come. This song is in a way like memories. Sad ones of letting go. Like maybe death, graduating, saying goodbye to a close friend, moving, military parents and saying goodbye to them going overseas, seeing your younger self and saying goodbye to childhood. Like just that kind of stuff. About everytime I hear this song I start to cry but no one else in my family thinks that it is sad. But at the same time none of them get deep connections to music without words. At least I know that my mom and sister don't get an emotion from music. But I think my dad does.

It is 1 am . I am listening to this music now and my heart wants to explode, but I am trying as much as possible to suppress these feelings. In fact, I have become in a lot of pain from the sudden beatings of my heart. I think this is the result of suppressing my feelings. I don’t know. I feel like giving up. Life has never given me anything wonderful. What's terrible is that it's Eid night and I'm saying that (I'm a Muslim). Why don't I have normal family like other people? The problem isn't just here. The problem is that I feel lost.I don't know anything about myself, what I like or hate. I truly hope that on this blessed night, God will relieve us of our grief and sadness. I bear these burdens when I am young. I fear that I will not have good health when I grow up. Even though I am a Muslim, I actually love this music after the Quran for sure.

I remember us singing to this song in year 4 back in primary school for our head master since he was retiring and our teachers had us sing this for him as he liked this song. Kinda miss those times life was a lot simpler and a lot nicer. (Actually dont fully know if this is the song as I can't find it anywhere else other than this video and our teacher played it on paino for us to sing to, it sounds similar so am assuming it's the one) (Looking into it I dont think this is the song because the lyrics are so different from what we sang but the tune is like the exact same so now im confused, all I remember is that the song name was the same and the tune was similar but the lyrics was very different)

So my story with the connection to this song is this christmas I wanted a music box so I could sleep easier. And I got one and it had this tune to it. But I knew I heard this song before so it took me about half an hour to figure out to look up the name on the hand which was sankyo. So then I looked up that and found the exact same type of music box. I then clicked the link and found that it was a song from Castle in the Sky. I then listen and it was the right song but the thing is I haven't seen Castle in the Sky that I remember. But when I looked at the trailer and what the movie was about, I remembered a story like it. So I am still super confused about how I know the song. Does anyone else know where this tune is, like maybe an old movie. Because I can't seem to remember where I heard it.
