Castle & Key Distillery is incredibly historic. It was built by the bourbon legend himself, Colonel E.H. Taylor, as a distillery and venue to host lavish parties. Then, prohibition shuttered the distillery.
After, it changed hands and companies multiple times before eventually falling into ruin.
Now, it's once again churning out spirits in the unassuming Kentucky countryside near Frankfort. And, with the release of Restoration Rye Whiskey, the distillery's long history and affiliation with whiskey has come full circle once more.
