Ah damn, sorry for your loss. That sucks - and cancer is an asshole. My dad passed away in 2010 to cancer. It was not an easy time at all. I hope you’re doing ok today. It does get easier, but I still get punched in the face with grief sometimes. Thanks for the kind words. Take care of yourself!

Hey thanks :) Yeah, the drums were a challenge. To record this into the DAW I had to move drums from being mono to stereo (because the other sounds were going into the other input channel). It ended up recording drums twice and that second hit of them was going through another channel that I then had to re-record, but it turned out pretty well!

I got a few clips from the show - but they're somewhat low quality and not from this song (only found them from a friend who invited me to the show). I have two other songs from there that I'll record when I have some time. I'm not sure the clips are worth sharing personally, they're only about 15 seconds long each.

Had you heard me the day before I had written this song - you'd have heard me cursing that my ability to write songs was gone, that I had nothing left.
