I really enjoy visiting Castle Park. As a theme park fanatic, there is a lot of history there with the park's founder Bud Hurlbut. Plus, it's just a fun place to visit!

@@CaliLifeTCG Bud Hurlbut was the creative mind behind the Mine Ride and Log Ride at Knotts. He also built trains. There are two trains at Castle Park that he built. He also built the one at Adventure City in Anaheim. They also have Knott's old Antique Car Ride at the park and a vintage merry go round. The offices above the Pizza Hut at the park was Bud's apartment! They also have a really fun two-story haunted house "shooter style" dark ride inside of the arcade!

The dancers did a great job. They were so energetic and interactive with the crowd. There was more to the cavalcade we didn't show to preserve some magic!

Ok now you are making me want to check this Mardi Gras event. The food looks pretty good. lol that guy with the umbrella at the Calvacade is fully committed. He is working it!🤣

Yes. It was a tasting size portion, but it was good. Could have eaten an entire bowl!

Just when I was making the claim that no theme parks in SoCal do Mardi Gras I see this video. Normally we don’t buy our pass until Castle Dark but this may change our mind.

It was a fun event and I recommend trying the food too! The gumbo was delicious! There was a DJ and dance party later in the night, but we left after the second cavalcade... My shoulder was still bothering me. Definitely check it out!
