All the fanservice in the Belmont Hold shows just how much the creators of the show love Castlevania. The Hold basically has everything, and none of it gets in the way of amything. Masterfully done.

Alucard was staring at the baby or at least a kid's vampire head, even if it's a vampire it's still a child, and a Belmont puts on the shelf like a trophy, I think I would b a little staggered if I saw a baby skull at someone's house...

tbf, we don't know the backstory - it's *savage af* yea but that child vamp could've feed on who knows how many ppl before a Belmont came to put him down

I mean there's no saying it was a baby from just that, there are a ton of weird looking monsters, could have been some goblin skull or something. I say that mostly because Alucard is the only child of a vampire I know of in the series so don't know how the Belmonts found another one, killed it, and took its skull. Could be forgetting something obvious though, or missed a line.

I get that I'm just saying that it's so rare, and it's not like the Belmonts know everything, it's far roe likely that the skull was just some weird, smaller, creature rather then specifically a vampire child, I mean we saw other skulls and skeletons laying around besides just vampires.

@@nahte123456 - true they kept other bones but the Belmonts were also *highly meticulous* in categorizing everything they found - nothing was out of place or *randomly "laying around"* so if the skull was stored with other vampire remains, odds are it's vamp too

In the game the Morningstar is an upgrade for the Vampire Killer. It's basically the same weapon, just more powerful.

The best thing about Castlevania are the small quiet moments in which character is allowed to blossom. Season 3 had tons of it. Especially with Alucard. A lot of people thought it was slow, especially with Alucard but I loved the quiet tragedy.

Alucard definitely wasn't thrilled that the Belmonts hunt vampires indiscriminately, even the children. Even though, and I feel like Trevor might learn this eventually, being a vampire doesn't necessarily make you evil.

Every time Rick tries to provide trivia, I question him. Sara (Leon's fiancee) was kidnapped by Walter Berhnard, who was just a powerful vampire that goaded warriors to his castle for fun. Leon renounced his title as a baron and left the church because they were too occupied with The Crusades. After defeating Walter, THEN he pursued Dracula

@@ryanklip24 that wasn't random. It was a major plot point of the characterization of Hector. Hector was delusional in thinking that Dracula was going to spare all of humanity, and that comes back to bite him later. So for Joe G to embolden those words makes sense.

Castlevania 2 is the second time Simon saw action. Castlevania 3 IS Trevor Belmont Curse of Darkness continued Castlevania 3's story. Other Belmonts include: Christopher (Castlevania Adventure) Juste (Harmony of Dissonance) Richter (Rondo of Blood) Julius Desmond (mobile phone game) Sonia (Legends-alternative canon) Gabriel (Lords of Shadow) Victor (Lords of Shadow 2 Boss)

@4:28 the Belmont backstory reminds me of the *"Winchesters" from Supernatural* - a family of Hunters living *in / above* a vast library of forgotten knowledge that catalogues all the supernatural occurrences of the world, whose lineage spans back 100's of generations are currently forced to live in hiding becuz *mankind / the church* won't accept what they do even though it desperately needs it - the Belmont stone entrance was even warded by *Enochian angelic-magic* like the Winchesters have been known to use... all that being said, the *Belmont family Hold* puts Winchester legacy *"Men of Letters" Bunker* to shame🤯🤯 LIKE# 230
