Isaac is no fool, he couldn't beat her one on one and why the heck would he? He's a forgemaster, he can create and lead an army to overwhelm his opponent. Carmilla is really powerful even for a vampire, the smart thing to do was send waves of forces against her to tire her out then team on her with the more capable night creatures. Not exactly an honorable duel, but I can respect it.

What a goddamn dark horse Isaac turned out to be. I don't think anyone when he was introduced had the slightest guess at what an amazing character journey he was going to undertake, that in a series fully of wonderful character work he stands out as a strong contender for the most satisfying. I think 3 out of my 4 most rewatched scenes from Castlevania are Isaac's: Isaac's conversation with the Captain, his final conversations with Hector, and his duel with Carmilla. The only other scene I think I go back to as often as these is Trevor's final boss fight.

This is my favorite episode of the whole show. Isaac is my fave character and this is like the culmination of his character growth for me plus how epic the raid is with the fight with Carmilla is so epic. God the scene with the bloody staircase too and like the conversations with Hector and Isaac too like gawd damn

Isaac is one of my favorite characters of ANY show period. The development which was so beautifully and calculating. Each conversation, each destination, each new thing learned paid off at the end for his arc. It was satisfying af!

There is an important detail to note. Issac was once a slave who revolted and gained freedom. While he initially wanted to make Hector pay for his betrayal, upon arrival he saw that Hector had now become Carmilla’s slave. Instead of killing him, he chose to free Hector as he too once knew a life of oppression. It all came full circle.

Apparently when Carmilla explodes there are a few frames where her face turns into a visage of how her character in the main video games looks like (i.e. a pale floating mask bleeding from the eye), which is a cool easter egg from the animators. Isaac’s main blue angel night creature is also apparently straight from the Curse of Darkness video game too.

Man, I knew immediately when you started watching the show that the day would come that you would thirst over Isaac so much!! 😁😁 But rizz aside, Isaac's journey is the best part of this show. He despite not being the protagonist, was the biggest attraction and most loved character for many viewers.

Fact: Curse of Darkness the night creatures created by Issac and Hector are called innocent devils. Since the player is using Hector, he controls and creates many of them. Issac is only seen using one, which you've seen in this episode with the wings. Hector can create his own version of that particular innocent devil through special means.

Isaac for being bald headed was designed very handsomely. -Not to say bald people aren’t cute. I am just surprised cause normally a bald animated character looks like a dweeb. I honestly loved Isaac in this. He’s just deep and one of those characters that actually considers viewpoints.

Actually you can’t turn vampires into night creatures. They leave no remains suitable for transformation. Just ashes and maybe a few small bones.
