What would happen if the end of Sonic 3 led to the start of Castlevania Bloodlines. A Sega Genesis Remix of the cutscene theme using just Sonic 3 Final Boss instruments for that darker ominous feel.

This is great, only hangup I have is that French Horn lead for the main melody... My suggestion would be the original Oboe, but combined with the instrument that does the triplet rolls in S3 Final Boss. Just my thoughts, but awesome otherwise.

What exactly are you using to make these? To me it sounds kind of like VOPM + sampler for drums. I think Deflemask is definitively the best way to make music with the YM2612 because it actually can play on real HW as well!

With this I used FMDrive along with audio samples of the percussion in Sonic 3. I havent tried but i believe FMDrive can allow you to convert to VGM format too.
