Castlevania Bloodlines - Soundtrack Replacement Preview

I've been working on a complete MD+ soundtrack replacement for Castlevania Bloodlines (or, in PAL regions, The New Generation) for the last few months. All the arrangements are done; I'm in the process of mastering them. I figured I'd throw up a preview so y'all could see what I've been working on besides the System Shock TC. I'll be posting the complete music pack on Zeldix when it's done, along with posting all the songs on my channel here, so look forward to that!
Also don't mind the mediocre gameplay; despite how much I love this game, I'm not that good at it lol

This just feels *right*, in a way many attempts at rearranging such iconic music don't manage to pull off. There's a sort of nostalgic buzz about the sound even as you've added depth to the mixing that's just delicious, if sounds can be flavorful. You're obviously coming at this from a place of love for the original score, and I look forward to hearing where else you take this!!

incredibly hard to match, much less improve upon, the original genesis soundtrack on this one imo, but you're headed in the right direction understanding that the synth-heavy sound of the original is a big part of the draw and leaning into that vibe for the base of your new interpretation

I know I can't replicate/improve upon the magic of Yamane-san's original soundtrack, but I love the music from this game so much I had to try.
