I managed to finally get my Xbox 360 to actually work, and it's been so long since I played this game. So I really needed this to remind me how to play it. Great video! Edit: ngl tho, the puppet master is probably the only boss here that kinda scares me.

I consider the puppet master to be the easiest one. As long as you have a weapon or spell to deal with the puppets. For soma and alucard, bare hands or any puch works

For Charlote and Soma the Glashya Labolas bubbles are great, for the belmots, just hold the attack button and whiggle the whip at it

Shanoa is the only one with problems there if you are not ready for a far away puppet

@@kiraxbloodelf2452 it's not the difficulty part that's scary about him. It's his design and general concept that scares me. Plus, that voice he has is really off-putting. Both in the game he first appeared in and here.

6 stages ? I thought there were 10, or 11 ?

The base game has 7, and there are 4 dlc stages, but stage 7 is more of an extra. You only have to beat stage 6 to unlock the hard dificulty and the advanced items in shoop likr the master ring and the soul eater ring.

Awesome video, to be honest, this title kind of suck, am not a fan or anything, but my ego doesnt let me abandon it, so i must clear it, however, the way to level up i don like it/understand it, but this make me more to know about. Before see this i was already at the final boss, but since it took me like a day to face dracula i tought that i was missing something... anyways, awesome video, and remember, say no to Game Over!

I played all GBA and NDS Castlevia games the days they came out . Heard about this game back then but never bought it since I wasn't into digital copy of anything. I recently subsribed to PlayStation Plus only to play Lost in The Rain (another title I missed out back then due to digital release only in North America) , then I saw HoD avail for streaming and decided to give it a go after all these years. It's ok, but I found it a bit repetitive and slow. Since I don't have gaming friend and only play solo , I can't really comment on the game. Stage 2 boss was so damn cheap that made me almost quit the game but I figured out the secret and beat him over the weekends anyways. On to stage 3, I was eager to face the giant boss but the bad stage design leading up to the boss killed it off for me. One wrong jump down and you'll have to slowly climb your way back to the same spot isn't fun , even with the camera zooming out, it's still hard to plan your trip when you have no idea if you can jump high enough to reach a certain spot until you get there. I also can't see if a door is blocked when everything's too tiny. so far , stage 1 was no problem when I can beat it using any character. My best run was Yoko Belnades. I cleared stage 2 one time using Julius Belmont. Hard to image I could use any other character without the ablity to whip upward like him . Jumping attack is out of the question for me. Overall , it's not bad but I have other games in mind for the subscription. I don't mind buying HoD and go back to the game in the future but streaming is the only option avail for the ps4 and it was taken off the xbox360/ps3 shops. So I do but I don't.

I think it may still be available on the ps3 shoop , but only if you check it while on ps3. I still have the game , if you want a partner. Yoko is very easy to lvl up , but she does not have much depth. The other mastery users like the whipers are hard to lvl up. Is slow and annoying afther lvl 5 mastery
