Castlevania 4 has more colors and a moodier atmosphere, yes, but Castlevania II looks pretty good for the palette it had. Also, your cover of Bloody Tears sounds awesome!

Maybe because the CV Bloodlines versions of songs from the previous games were going for a diffrent feeling and the target audience being other people that are diffrent from you .

Both versions try to do this, except one of them has excellent percussion, features powerful electric guitar usage, and sounds closer to the original, and it’s not the Bloodlines version imo.
