I love Genesis sounding like an orchestra and you replicated that very well at the beginning, really good cover! The lead guitar is also banger >:)

Thanks for always including VGM downloads of your tracks. It's great for us Megadrive/Genesis home devs. I'm currently doing a Castlevania SotN remake on the Megadrive and was wondering if you minded if I were to include some of you music in videos? Although not SotN tracks, they still sound great, and I'm sure the Castlevania fans would enjoy it. Here's a link to my remake project, if you're interested: kzbin.info/www/bejne/m2m6lJV4qL-GoMk

Yes of course! Sorry for not responding earlier, KZbin held this comment for review and hadn't notified me about it.

@@silverriff That's ok, I know how easy it is to miss comments sometimes :) Thanks. I'll make sure to give you credit if I use the track in any future video.

Hey man, can you tell me roughly how you get these strings ? They sound so good and I just can't get to where I want it. I feel like the 2x2 OP is the right way but...
@silverriff3 жыл бұрын
For reference, I looked up DX 7 string patch tutorials on youtube and tried copying that as best as I could. As for what I did to try to get there, I played around with algorithm 2 until I got something that sounded like a square combined with a sawtooth wave and made them phase each other with the detune slider. I'm not great at explaining stuff but I hope that helps a bit :).
@galcha513 жыл бұрын
@@silverriff the phase, right ! Thanks, you're the best !

Most of the leads are kinda grating and overly loud but I like the rest
