I wish they'd show Richter as a Man instead of as a boy...teenage angst & coming of age is not interesting, just annoying to watch. Trevor was cool because he was a grown, grizzled, experienced hunter. And Richter is among the strongest the Belmont line has produced, his Image in Symphony of the Night is also as a grown man with long hair, I don't understand this trend to make grown adult warriors as children...and since when is there a black character in Castlevania? Wish they'd stop changing races of characters and keep true to the image ppl have of the original - it's better to respect the source material than an imagined unnecessary checkbox

Oh be quiet with that woke this and woke that. It’s getting real old. Don’t watch the show and move on, simple.

@@privatedonut2914 Ppl tuned into the show because it's based on SotN and the disappointment is real and valid when it deviates...shows going woke has gotten old and ruins the fun out of seeing the beloved source material ppl want to see brought to life (which is also superior) - comprende? It doesnt look like you know much though so...the show is based of a genre defining videogame and a sequel to a superior (non-woke) prequel which is exemplary. The Wokeness (ALWAYS a bad thing because it only detracts, NEVER adds) is real and it kills immersion because instead of adding something new, it changes something beloved and expected into something different for the sake of different, not because it actually adds anything meaningful, which ruins immersion completely. When making changes, they should improve, not just change for change's sake, that's just stupid because you will deter your core audience (the ones its meant for who made the 1st Castlevania so successful because word of mouth was fantastic for that as being a decent adaptation) You must be ignorant of how much better it can be when they don't use generic screenwriting and check fruitless boxes including making Richter a boy instead of a man like Trevor in the previous series - which was better obviously - Richter's image in SotN is very cool as a powerful veteran Belmont who gives Alucard trouble and they should have stuck to that instead of this boruto-naruto boyish look, but hey that's just about the internet's take on it, not just me.
