I’ll admit, this was my first Castlevania game ever. But this also led me to being a big fan of the series. Even going back to play the older ones as well to see where it all started and the newer games after. Definitely a good gaming journey for me! Also, sidenote: With this game I wish we could’ve fought Loretta alone as a boss (like Stella) at some point before fighting them together

To be fair, their duo battle essentially was Loretta's boss battle; Stella was just an extra hazard, simply using her sword on intervals while Loretta doing most of the job. A Loretta solo battle would have been about the same, but without Stella's attacks butting in and without their ice sword combo attack.

" just deal with the effed up dogs.. time it when drac releases it and kill those dogs.. they'll give you problems no more.. making the rays easier to dodge.." but... he sends dogs at you... to 2 sides.. so when he'll do that homing attack.. the dogs will possibly still be attacking you... and If you want to argue about it being fair... then prove it... because the only example of somebody doing it without taking damage I've seen was with shield.... unfairly hard? I don't know, but even if it is then it doesn't make it any better. You can make a trash game and if you'll say "this game is supposed to be trash" it won't make the game good.

Dorian James There’s a joke subweapon called the Cream Pie; it deals about the damage you’d expect from a pie in the face, and in the darkness element no less, which is about as effective in a game full of demons and undead as it it sounds, and is thrown in an awkward arc. For 99% percent of the game it’s totally useless, but during the fight against Whip’s Memory, it winds up being incredibly useful. Since the boss Richter is actually a good guy§, its darkness element is useful against him, and the arc it flies in is very useful to hit him without leaving yourself open to his attacks. As such, this ridiculous weapon winds up making a usually very difficult fight much easier. § Quick plot synopsis: as part of making a prophecy come true, nobody in the Belmont family, the usual wielders of the Vampire Killer whip, is allowed to use it for some time, so it’s been left with Jonathan Morris. He needs to use its full power against Brauner, but the whip has retained the memories of its past user Richter Belmont, which rejects Jonathan as a non-Belmont. So Jonathan needs Stella and Loretta’s help to enter the memories and defeat Richter there so the whip will accept him and he can use it properly.

Who else agrees that this is the best Castlevania game? None of the bosses are easy, let alone the players wanting them to be easy.

Really? This is my favorite castlevania so far (I've also played symphony of the night, aria of sorrow, dawn of sorrow and order of occlesia) yet I think this is the easiest by long shot out of all of them. Some of the dual crushes are too OP lol 2 uses of 1000 blades completely destroys astarte for instance

​@@jojonta2119 nah. Dawn of Sorrow is the easiest of the DS games By FAR. This one had a good difficulty level design. And Order of Ecclesia is definitely the hardest.
