Tremendous execution on the movement tech. Cant imagine how long it took to achieve that level of mastery, those inputs are awfully difficult to chain together and you made it look easy. If it weren't for a couple bonks here and there (and the missed quick kills) I would've sworn it was a TAS

It should be worth noting that the RTA timing for the TAS is 5:20. That's on the PS1 version which is slower due to lag and loading. If you don't account for that, this run is faster than the TAS.

If you look at Vs Battle Wiki (a website that uses a strict set of guidelines to rank the power of fictional characters on a scale of 10 (least powerful) to 1 (most powerful), Dracula, Alucard and Richter are all rated a 2; all three of them are incredibly powerful. Alucard is Richter's equal in terms of power. A fight between the two could go either way.

Quick question: As I see (if I am indeed correct) this is the Xbox 360 version of the game. One of the achievements require you to explore the castle 200,6%. Is is possible to discover the castle both normal AND inverted as Alucard? And THEN do the Richter playthrough?

+Bram25 Yes you get 100.3% per castle as Alucard. That requires you to explore both castles completely including secret rooms. It is possible to get even more completion by glitching yourself out of the map, too. I don't remember if exploring it all as Richter does anything.

I love the song at the end and I think is much better than the ending song of any other version. Is like complaining of the RE3 ending song too! Even horror movies have calm pop songs at the end of them; what's happening here is that we flawlessly believe that our tastes and likes are the only ones, completely forgetting japonese people have a whole different way to think about emotions. Nicely done mecha! I literally only just started running this today (emulated unfortunately) after about 7 years of just trying to chain air-slashes and finally got the hang of it, on top of that getting the quick jump out of/into air-slash which makes me happy. Spent nearly 6 hours just on the beginning of the game, practice lractice practice til it was flawless. Decided to look up the route and got 9-ish on my first serious run. Not bad for a first time i think. I gotta figure out that skip at the beginning of the second castle, and given some time you might have a new challenger for this ^_^
