another good idea....cut it up with a old scissor over the food processor instead of on cutting board, so you don't lose excess "juice"

Hey Dave, I could be wrong about this but I don’t think you’ve ever done a video about Gum blankets. I made one after watching your mod of a pack using flex seal. Same idea just canvas tarp with flex seal rolled on. Have found it to be a great price of gear but definitely has some weight to it

Manual do Survival, chop the tail up, place in glass jar with the lid cracked to release gasses, place in the sun and let the oils release. Use the oil, makes a decent predator attractant.

Yes they are both attracted to it. If you really want to drive them nuts, use the castor from one area on beavers in another area. They are very territorial and the thought of an intruder will drive them mad.

Useful Junk, actually it smells pretty good in my opinion. A lot of perfume manufacturers use it in their formulas. Also used in food and drink.

Dave you need to salt them or they will taint on you.been makeing lure for 20 years..like u said deadly on k9 an cats

You will be ok if u use it fast out a drop or two of a fixative in it like ylang ylang oil...very penatrateing smell.I know it hammers K9 an cats....beaver sack oil is one of my favorite ingredients to put in my baits.enjoy your videos being a knife maker an a trapper ur videos are interesting to watch

Salt them? Hang them, dry them, and put in freezer until ready to use or grind fresh like Dave did and add glycerin, just as Dave did. Or put in a jar, cover with cheap vodka and tincture. No need to salt them, castor will not taint. Taint will only occur if there is meat left on the castors.
