I never knew how big sea otters actually are until I saw one at Monterey Bay Aquarium. Not as long a the giant river otter but hefty boys.

About sloths, is not because it would take them whole day to go pick up the baby, it is because they get minimal energy cause of their preferred diet and if they run out making the effort they may die from exhaustion.

The second elephant creature is Deinotherium whose name means "Terrible Beast" they were large plant-eaters whose tusks grow out of the lower jaw rather then the upper jaw. They grew to around 13 feet tall at the shoulder

As someone who grew up on watching animal shows, I'm surprised by how much people don't know about animals.

We take for granted how freaking weird elephants actually look like...until we see their extinct relatives, most of which looks either AI generated or like something from Spore.
