I appreciate that Sensei! We should do a EUC live chat again but this time, let people in to come chat open mic style about various topics. You and Flip, U-stride all good hosts. We could stream off one another to make it widely seen and accessible. Have fun man! Be safe!

Yea it involves some practice. I usually go through a period of swapping out pads that are not "so much in the way", but this time just going to go with the flow with the clarks on this one and get use to it over time. Practice practice practice. So far, seated on the sherman is the best seated ride experience so far without issue.

The master made it super easy for me. After that I could sit right on my V12 like no problem. Before the master I was not comfortable riding my V12 seated. Now I can do miles and it feels stable

O man that 80lbs carry up those stairs! You mights well cancel the gym membership 😁. If I was in the same situation, I'd think about constructing a ramp of sorts. Good choice on the 244 despite what you initial impressions are. Its called a dual sport tire for a reason & its good for most dual purpose. A full on dirt knobby will be need for those loose large gravel. Hint: don't concern yourself with batt % but instead learn to decipher V. Its the most exact way to read a batt.

Yea , there is a certain way to lift it. I lead it down with my leg, kind of at an angle. And then when i lift it, i bend down , bend at the knees, lift it to my chest, and my right leg is leading it up again. Try this when wearing a pack at the same time lol Get use to it a couple times haha. Thanks for the advice. I do have a forum post about how to go about calculating Volts, because as you suggested its best to go by that. Appreciate you for watching!

Thanks for the review. For the casual riders, the Masters ceiling is so high, a cut out is allmost impossible. But for casual riders the height of the footplates might be too much.

My master with the kenda street on it, is a little twitchy at 30 psi. Just have rode it a tiny bit with no pads at all yet. Waiting for my grizzla stuff to get here. If I don't get them soon ill velcro on some plastic sheets and slap on my clark extreme pads. And yea I went 30 miles the other night and still had 47% average riding about 26 mph riding average, good enough for me

@@WILSONsHobbies the grizla fairing and pads really made it more solid. I got only around 75 miles on the wheel so far. I just need to get more miles on it, its just a different beast as the 16X thats for sure. Mine only charges to 133.4 i only do around 300 psi on mine. I've been experimenting with soft mode as well, seems to ecellerate better setting it softer. Can stand soft mode though, even on easy excelleration it dips down too much, going to stick with medium as hard mode feels like I'm always having to push forward so hard and it makes my feet hurt leaning so far forward. The modes are a totally different experience than a king song.

I am want to get a pads faring set for my master idk which to go for Grizzla vs Clark Also want a pad that would help me jump/hop on curb sides and more Does the Clark do it ?
@WILSONsHobbies
@WILSONsHobbies 2 жыл бұрын
I hear both options are great. I don’t own the Grizzla fairings , so I can’t really comment about those. If I was searching for both of the fairings, to find the best option, I would base my decision and compare them based on how much weight is added to the wheel after applying them. I would also check to see how wide it would make the wheel after the pads are on , and how much extra space I can get when the Pads are installed. Does the fairing include pads? Does the fairing have an option to add a seat that goes with the fairing? Research and find the one that best protects your battery and have the options that you want. Price vs Need. As far as pads are concerned, Clark Pads seem to be a standard pad for jumping. These pads you see here in the video add about 2/4 of inch to the wheels width, with interlocking features that help you decide whether or not you want the spacing to be tighter or far apart. These pads are excellent , however the acceleration part of the pad sticks out too much for me to successfully work my leg around the pad when trying to sit. I can do it, but as you see in the video, it is something I need to get use to with repeated practice. The wheel also has large pedals, so when you close the pedals, you have to adjust your pad to not block a complete closing of the pedals, which i prefer to happen. If you want a tighter fit to your foot for jumping or not have so much movement of your foot positioning, then you will have to sacrifice pedal closure . Often times I opt to use leather pads as I can slide right over them easily for sitting. Grizzla pads on the other hand, do not add extra width to the wheel, as they have separate acceleration and braking sections. Your leg will just rest right on the wheel itself. Same with Grizzlas, yes you can jump with these like the Clark Pads but again you will need to decide if pedals closed all the way matters to you or not. Im picky with pads, and how they are placed on my wheel. At this time, I'm just going with the flow with these pads as this wheel is used and second hand purchase. This was included with my wheel so I will do my best to get use to this. If all else fails, I will switch over and test the Master with my Grizzla standard pads and if that also fails, I will result to using my monocustomize leather pads, all for the purpose of easy transition for seated riding. Hope this helps with your question. Yes, you can jump with both of these.

Haha, I think I remembering mentioning you should have just gone with a master a couple wheels back. I see you went almost all in on it with all the clark pad set up which isn't cheap for sure. That tail light and rear fender are glass fragile so be careful. The way you ride you might make it last longer than most without issues. Good luck on that Begode lol!

@WILSONsHobbies 2 жыл бұрын
HAHA yea you are right! The wonders of buying a wheel used :p Good to know about the tail light. I heard it does break easily. Working on the speed drills is next, freaking torque is amazing on this! Hero is still out of commission for the time being, still have not figured out why it is not balancing. Will update and compile all the videos made on it in the future. Do you have a Master? Will you be getting one?

@@WILSONsHobbies Actually I'm scared of buying into Begode these days. I see them releasing so many wheels just to try and saturate the market. Initial releases I've already seen issues on most of them. I know you buy Begode purely for performance but wheels are too expensive for me personally just to buy for that reason alone. I'm a pretty chill rider like yourself. I'm more than happy with my IM V11 and plan on getting the V13. Between the both of them, they fill all my criteria. :)

@@todd6888 V11 is a great wheel! I agree with all your points in the comment. Knock on wood, hopefully nothing happens. Have you considered buying used wheels that have more than 400 miles on it? To me that is a good indicator the wheel has broken in , and if any issues had popped up it would have presented itself early. (In theory), plus you can save money depending on the deal with the used-seller. I advocate the buying of used wheels if the wheel has been taken good care of and not around rain or water. The heavier wheels are too much weight to carry for my tastes,. With the Master, the buck stops here per sey. I cant go any heavier. Hope the V13 meets your criteria, the design of it looks amazing!

you ever figure out the psi on that master? I'm 218 lbs without gear. The chart says for me to use 370psi (est. 385psi with gear+pack) 450 psi is the max psi. I'll be kinda close to the max and I don't want to blow it apart on a hard hit.
@WILSONsHobbies
@WILSONsHobbies 2 жыл бұрын
I question it in the video and show the chart in the video, but I have lowered it to 300psi (the max recommended). However many people are claiming 300psi, and have blown stems for going over. Hopefully someone in comments can direct us to the correct recommendations for the stock shock.

How’s the train tracking, any ?
@WILSONsHobbies
@WILSONsHobbies 2 жыл бұрын
Out of the box, the stock tire does track a bit, with a flop over effect during turns. Same tire behavior as the stock Begode Hero tire. This MASTER came with the Shinko, with no train tracking . It is just my recommendation to change out the stock tire for something more to your liking.

Is building muscle such a bad thing? After like a week of carrying this up 3 flights of stairs it is starting to become fun and like a challenge after you've done a long ride to carry it. It's like maxing out your push UPS and then doing 5 more. But you don't even have to go to the gym.

@@CrunchyTire I mean it sounds good 👍.... but I commute in NYC and got a bookbag filled and my tool bag on me. So carrying this up.and down the steps is just too much. I already got my muscle game up by just carrying my bags around. 👌

Duddeeee I been following you ever since you started riding. I appreciate you just giving your "casual" insight on things. The Shinko tire should be able to eat up that rail trail easily for you, but you said you "sliding all over the place"???. You said previously in another video you struggle with high speed riding past 30, are you still having that issue? Im glad you are one of those responsible riders and take safety and your life seriously while riding. Any tips to share about your high speed tests?
@WILSONsHobbies
@WILSONsHobbies 2 жыл бұрын
Thanks Kirk , thank you for following ! Yea some people might think "Casual" is boring, and sometimes i even think its boring. I do admit i have to try to push wheel a bit and it has been a while since Ive done speed drills to get myself use to different speeds. Im super comfortable riding 25-30mph . Fear of the unknown i guess you can say beyond that. This wheel has the power and feels stable so shouldn't be a problem. Im still not certain why I felt like I was sliding over the place because the first "trail" had no prior issue riding on it before but this time I felt very not in control of the tire. Always was sliding out from the loose rock on that particular trail. Will have to try the trail again a few more times. Could be just rider not use to riding this wheel. I cant really give my thoughts on tips to share about high speed tests except to have an app on set to a speed limit so it will beep at that limit. Keep raising it and practice in different areas of the road. More time and dedication, i think i will be ok. Hope this comment helps buddy!
