Got the 20L version yesterday. Loud but very powerful. UK socket does 1740watts whilst the Rage 5s table saw is just 1500watts. Result! Works great together.

Good review tomasz it looks similar too my old shop vac branded one those filters are expensive and soon get clogged up with fine dust even if attached too a cyclone just make sure you use a bag aswell and it stops the fine dust getting to the filter

How do you remove the canister to empty the dirt, sawdust, leaves etc? Doesn't seem to come off of the base? Hard to empty with the base and all the tools attached.

Witam, dalej działa bez problemu. Kilka razy używałem go do odciągu wody i spisał się bardzo dobrze. Co do cementu i gipsu to chyba będziesz potrzebować czegoś bardziej specjalistycznego. Oczywiście wciągnie ale takim pyłem z gipsu i cementu w mgnieniu oka zapchasz filtr. Jeśli nie przeszkadza Ci czyszczenie filtru za każdym razem to będzie ok. Do pracy w drewnie i odciągu z małych maszyn sprawdzą się bardzo dobrze. Pozdrawiam

Hi Thomas, great video again. That Power Take Off feature is very cool but changing the plug for each tool can become tiring if you're using multiple tools. Do you know whether you can use an extension cable with a multi-switch and have it work for all your tools? Can you try (cheeky request) and let us know?

Hmm I would not recommend that to be honest. It does have its limits

As a qualified electrician of course you can do this. Just operate one tool at a time. And get a good quality extension cord. Making sure it’s not all coiled up.

It sucks up water, there is a foam type cover that you put instead of the filter and that's it as far as I remember. You got a cap at the bottom of the tank to release the water.

Have ever thought of building an insulated box to sit your shop vac in as a way of reducing the noise level.

That could lead to overheating the engine of the shop vac as I do run it for long periods. Not sure if that would be the best way to go.

Hi Tomaz, do you use the dust bag along with the new filter you fitted or is it used if you have no filter - sorry for the blonde moment - i know nothing about shop vacs but am thinking of getting this one

At this moment the shop vac is connected to my cyclone system so I only have the filter in the vac. Before that I had both on. But I have to say it was very difficult to put those bags in the right place. Regardless if the vac filter is on or off. If I didn't had the cyclone system I would ditch the bags as they are too expensive anyway and just use the reusable filter.

Are you still using this? If so how does it do with the thicknesser. Just got my Makita and 6ft x 4ft x 6 inches of walnut and ash chips later I'm thinking I finally need to get one as cheap as possible 🤣

Still got it, works fine. But for a thicknesser I would recommend a high volume low pressure machine. This is the otherwise around, so low volume and high pressure. Its best for sanders etc.

@@Paul-TrophySE definitely, I actually used it to drain water from toilet tank as well and it worked perfectly. Lots of power, doesn't over heat even after couple of hours of constant use.
