What so many people fail to understand is that gaming, sports, all sorts of entertainment have value (worth money) because they capture the attention of people. Attention is one of the few things in the world that has intrinsic value, so it's completely realistic that gaming has turned into an industry. The other side of this argument is that, because the barrier to entry for gaming is so much lower than pro sports, I see so many people waste their lives trying to make a living off of gaming and end up living their lives in poverty as a result. There's a serious lack of understand around just how much of a time investment it is to succeed, along with luck and other factors, to make a career out of entertainment. Yes, anyone can do it, but no, not everyone can do it. Please enjoy video games and enjoy streaming and making videos and content, but also please protect yourselves from suffering. I care for y'all. Ok rant over

I don’t disagree that ppl complain about dumb shit then don’t wanna pay more money for something like Evo but i definitely don’t think increasing entry cost for Evo is the solution 300 for reg is already crazy

@@Bum1six3 facts tbh if 100 is a problem you probably shouldn’t be going but it’s the principle to me are we implying this 5 dollars is one time or is it going to go up 5 dollars every year or why not 10-20 next year then 50 and does it go to games with more entry’s or does every game get a piece
