Worst kind of games to be honest. It's because players over-optimize gameplay present day and don't just play the games they like, everyone wants to be the best of the best of the best and it really takes away from alot of online games im playing right now. Everyone is watching someone meta game and emulates that and they pass that on to people who pass that on to people who pass that on to people and now everyone plays the game exactly the same. Apex, WoW, DBFZ, COD, hell even dragonball legends on my phone is like that LOL. I don't mind playing against skillful players(i prefer it), id just rather the people playing the games feel more human instead of animalistic. People care about winning so much, they forget their playing a video game, its crazy.

Well, Trunks having low blockstun on that assist can be pretty useful for some characters. Specifically those with grabs in their auto-combos. You can use the Trunks assist to override the blockstun of the auto-combo and thus get around the pesky nature of auto-combo grabs whiffing on block because of the opponent still being in blockstun.

I'd argue some things you mentioned aren't really that broken by comparison, if at all, like Janemba's j2H at 8:58, but rather than nitpick a couple of points, I just wanna say that that was a nice, wholesome end to the vid. Yeah, the game isn't perfect, it's riddled with its own share of flaws and ignorant BS, and could definitely use another, _proper_ balance patch to undo some of it (looking at you, Cell 214H), but it's still a really fun game in my opinion and holds a special place in my heart as the first FG I actually played seriously enough to learn, especially as someone who wasn't particularly interested in the genre back then. Rollback was definitely a huge improvement as well since I've been seeing so many new faces and gaining more experience lately.

I would have included Videls Gohan attacks. The the punch is a fast check that keeps you from immediately checking them & the bingo ball is nice cuz it’s plus & for a bar vanishing makes it so no matter what you do you don’t win against her, but the big ones are the air ones. The stomp can letter her combo off her level 1 into another level 1 giving her really easy ToD’s on point if you have ppl with level 2’s and that’s ignoring that it tracks meaning ppl can’t just throw stuff out if Shes airborne. But the dive kick controls probably the best angle for a projectile ever, hits hard by the average no commitment air projectile, gives her a universal hard knockdown & in the corner a combo into command grab to mix the hell out of you, all while being the only standard projectile in the game that *beats super dash outright.* This means she’s a point character who gets all the benefits of offensive assists, but has a neutral game good enough to work on anchor so you just get the easiest time capitalizing on her main strengths.

I like how the Ginyu tab was "just Ginyu" haha aint that the truth. The Body Change nerf really hurt though. I used to pull it off in like almost every match, when you could combo into it using Guldo. Now I rarely use it, since its so situational now, it's sad to see.

It's why beams, special grabs, and lariat style moves are all punishable when you whiff and can't be canceled during their animation or recovery. They can be canceled on hit but not whiff.

You still got new people playing and enjoying Killer Instinct for example, and that came out before fighters, not to mention stuff like melty blood. Sure, if you only play games to compete professionally, now might be an okay time because you can build from the knowledges of vets without any of their bad habits since the game keeps changing drastically, just look at pre A21 compared to now, so much is insanely different. And Rollback has changed the online meta so much, Z broly and The fusions used to be much stronger when they had unreactables, well, broly had the unreactable grabs, but the fusions were just annoying, which I'd say is worse.
