Taking EXACTLY 2 subjects - areas b,c,f, have been taken into account, but shouldnt we take (b+a), (c+a), (f+a) into account for exactly 2? I mean that whole section including a for all 3.

When we say B it includes marketing and finance but when you add A with B it includes marketing finance and strategy which contradict the statement given in the question saying exactly two. I hope it helps

That point in question- "those taking finance and strategy is one less then....." Here no where is mentioned 'only finance and stretegy' and also 'only marketing and finance' is too not mentioned. Then how are you taking them as only f and s and only m and f???
