So I had certain doubts: 1) I had 7 subjects in ny 10th and 6 in my 12th, will I have to consider all of them while calculating the percentage or just 5? 2) What about the SoP? You didn't mention anything about it. Is it not the part of form filling? 3) Do we have to mark our preferences for colleges also, or is that a process after the cat result is out? 4) do we have to mention anything about our CV i.e certifications etc. in the CAT form itself or is that a process to br done later on? 5) currently i am in my 5th year of BALLB, however, I have got a BA degree also for the same, should I still be getting the final year certificate? Can that be taken from the college principal or will I have to go to university for the same?

Is identification certificate mandatory? I think it is something new launched by CAT authorities because I gave CAT last year and there was no mention of any identification certificate.

For anyone who passed 14yrs back lol hope this helps those who r confused Subjct wise indicative % = 9.5 x GP of the subj Overall / Aggregate % = 9.5 x CGPA And if in the marksheet nothing is mentioned regarding total marks Its 5 subjects in total (and if anything is mentioned regarding inclusion of 6th subject optional then do it accordingly) so assuming its 5 total is gonna be *500 which is the max mark* And total mark Eg: X÷500 x 100 = 75% X = 75 * 500/ 100 = 375( show the decimals upto 2 if its there) Hope this helps.

Our marking scheme in Xth was in CGPA system. For overall CGPA to %age conversion the official conversion factor is x9.5. However, in the total marks column what do we have to write, also the total marks received?

@@abhilashadohare7168 yes, multiply your total cgpa with 9.5 it will give you your aggregate percentage. Now, multiply your percentage with no. of subjects that are there in your marksheet, it will give you marks obtained

you dont need any certificate, when you will give your interviews you will still be in your undergrad college and you wont be having any official degree so that certificate will be used as a dummy degree there. Just fill the form normally no need of certificate.

Bruh, CAT is asking for NC-OBC certificate which has a validity for only 1 year and not just a Caste certificate which usually has a 3 year validity!!
