Sir, Cat 24 went horrible for me. Was scoring between 90-97%le in mocks. Panicked in DILR after failing to solve the first selected set. That panic ruined quant as well. Any way to salvage the year in XAT? Have no clue about XAT. I feel my QA is my weakest section (although after Sunday, can't vouch for DILR as well) GEM 91.2/91/89.7

It’s okay. Try to fill the forms of colleges around the 85-90 percentile range as well if you are hunting for some calls. On to the next one

Hello sir, Good Evening! I needed some guidance as I am a little confused. Mine was slot 2, same as yours, and I believe I did well in VARC, attempted 16 questions, and did well in DILR, completing 2 sets and a question of the third set. But somehow I blanked out in QA and could barely complete 4 questions. I am not sure if I’ll clear QA sectional cut off, even if I will end up scoring well thanks to VARC and DILR. I am not sure what forms should I fill of colleges and what shall I do next. Currently I am planning on starting with XAT properly, but it’d be great help if you’ll be able to guide me for CAT.

Point 99, Arun Sharma I felt made the best analysis. The Ac and Atm sets were not easy at all they were traps in them and ac mein Language was not clear. Quants also in Slot 3 was deceptive as it was lengthy and some calculation required calculator to be sure of like the Si/CI (9 yrs) q

Sir I have only paid for the 3rd slot snap due to financial issues. Will that hinder the final outcome? Some people are saying the 3rd slot will be difficult as always. Now I can't even pay for the other two slots as the deadlines have passed. I also have XAT, what should I do? Please reply!!

Hi Manisha, it’s okay to take it once. People recommend multiple attempts because SNAP doesn’t normalise scores across slots. You will get more exposure in terms of the kinds of questions asked and so can be better prepared to deal with the test. And then hope and pray that they manage to keep the LoD same across the various tests. I have heard about some variances in the past (not necessarily slot 3) so let’s hope it doesn’t affect you this time. Regarding XAT, there’s a video in the pipeline so it should be out by tomorrow or day after tops.

Agree with what Rishav has said (hope I got your name right). A lot depends on accuracy. The max percentile is around 90 that I can think of. Mostly it should be in the 70s-80s if you ask me. Let’s see what the response sheet says.
