Hey, I like this guy! Hey Just bought my first f450 dump! Do you have any advice on which 36” should I get? I’m torn between a 1050 ditch witch or a bobcat mt100
@TigranGertz3 жыл бұрын
Just do some more research, you'll know which one to get
@keys723 жыл бұрын
@@TigranGertz yeah you’re right I’m 90% convinced I need a ditch witch sk800 with narrow tracks. I’m from Toronto, and working anywhere in the city, the houses are very close together. I think with a working load of 900 lbs, and a 36” track. The bobcat doesn’t have as good undercarriage clearance, the controls, I prefer the dual track controls. I rented the sk755 the mt100 and mt85, like the ditch witch way more. Am I wrong somehow? I wanna be able to load up my dump truck and take off stuff like armour rocks, and sections of skids of interlock. Typically the size of job in these Toronto back yards is like 300-500 sqft. Front driveways are 700 sqft. Also plan on getting smooth bucket, forks a concrete breaker and auger... and perhaps a helical pile installer, if one comes with it. I can dig out either in 2-3 hours max with the ditch witch, why would I ever need a 60” or bigger bobcat? For now not much .

Do a video on what attachments to buy or is it better to rent, I'm going to buy a sk800 but I want to know if I need a trencher etc. thanks

Hey man not sure if you will see this but at the moment my company name has “landscape” at the end but I feel that having landscape in my name gets me stuck only doing lawn mowing and landscaping and was thinking of removing landscape and putting “SERVICES” to open more doors to more work like land clearing and all different out door work and was wondering if you think removing landscape and putting services would make it difficult for people to find my business online and see what I do ?

If you had 2.5-4 ton excavator with a good operator and a couple attachments like tilt bucket, dig bucket and thumb. Or tilrotator if need deduction. We have scl 1000 svl95 that get used 1/4 as much as our mini. Also a little wacker that we are using more and more for things around yard and installing materials like topsoil and mulch etc. Real low impact. The loader is how we move pallets alot. However my 4ton mini can lift a full pallet in real close usually. Also have an l6060 tractor. Someday you will get the right guy on that cat mini rental and wind up deciding you must keep it lol. The best for demo too!

You inspired me to grow alot the last 2 yrs. 1st machine was tractor with plow and 3pt blower. Now I have all these machines for snow with metalpless and arctic. Then we have access all summer for every other project that comes up. Also we mow and bought another turf tiger and stand on blower at same time to get into fleet program.

I figured let's go for it! I'm young. Last year we did a 100k patio. A decent 20k this winter. Haven't done any this year. I have a hard time selling patios it seems. Like I'm to pricy idk. I'm gonna get my septic license because it seems to be natural progression for our company. The patios were hard because I'm only capable installer. Sorry to rant. I should just join goat gang and say what up!

By the time you no it you will going places speaking Spanish ordering food good to learn . Goat gang is what s up , and what ever happen to mike what his last name ? Lol
Really enjoy your videos and 👏 to your success🤘I've used the ditchwitch (rental) and I own a Vermeer CTX 100 and hands down the Vermeer would smoke the Ditchwitch in every aspect. I know your in Cali but you need to broaden your view on machines and look at what we use over here in Texas and taken it all across the country , I would try to find one to demo or have Vermeer bring you one to use they will beat anyone in customer service. (I also own a Kubota, their service is mid level) Stay real homeboy
Some of ur video… when u’re talking about a product…. The cameraman suppose to show us the product…. He only focus on ur face 100% the time

It's unbelievable to me after the awful experience you've had with the ditch and their service that you're advising new young business owners to buy one. It's seems awfully contradictory to the point that you've made in your last few videos. I appreciate you sharing your experiences in the industry but it does seem odd.

That's a dealer thing though. Not because the brand is bad, the dealer shit. Like I wouldn't adversité for the cat dealer near me cause their assholes, they'll send techs, but only like 3 to 4 days later.

He isn’t saying to get that one specifically he is saying to get one of those first . There are multiple brands get the one that fits your business.
