I'm told the casualties from palm tree pruning are pretty high, and include quite a number of dead men.

I'm interested in the Morbark Boxer 322D or the Boxer 700HDX with expandable tracks that go from 34.5" out to 43.5". Anyone have any time on either of these? Both have the 24hp Kubota diesel.

We've installed DG 2 different ways. 1st "4 inches of DG with Stabilizer, compacting and soaking in "2 inch layers until the last layer. About 4 times. Last layer screed smooth and use a roller to finish. Water can with binder topping. Takes a while to dry out, but end result was good. A little costly both labor and materials. 2nd way, excavate to "4 inches. Compact "2 inches of baserock, apply fabric, Compact "2-3 inches of DG with stabilizer. Roll finish grade. This method was cost effective both materials and labor and didn't have any sinkage problems. Granite fines and cans of binder was the old way, phased out 10 years ago. Today the binder/Stabilizer comes mixed in...you don't need to apply anything except water. Don't forget to compact several times during installation. Don't compact it all at once.

Modern products are so damn fussy, so many options for customers and they have such specific install instructions. Stuff like this happens, h age to be so diligent staying or top of this stuff
No noticeable change they saw you coming a mile away

True, take accountability and get it fixed the right way. It’s an expensive but good lesson learned for the next job.

General Contractor here, 5000 is a flick to the nuts. But honestly I don’t give a damn about a 5k loss. I will be a bit annoyed I have a service crew on that site again. But friend. You seeing things from a whole other perspective than an owner of a business. I can’t count how many times I’ve lost willingly a few hundred bucks just to send my foreman an extra hand. It’s worth it. 5k is potato chips, my payroll every two weeks is over 30k you think Tigran gives a shit about 5k.

Is it Granitecrete? Get it delivered in a mixer or get stabilized DG from Vineyard Rock in Hollister. It's premixed, just needs water.
