I’ve used WD-40 for starter fluid as well. When changing drive oil I remove the top plug first in case there is any residual pressure on the system. It also helped the drain flow better. Cheers

Hi, thanks for watching. Neve heard of using wd40 as starter fluid, but it wouldn’t surprise me, we used it to remove a sticky label residue last weekend and have a spoonful in my tea to keep Covid away 😁

I only found out recently that WD40 was originally developed as a water displacer (as in WD) for the aerospace industry.

That’s my background, aerospace in the uk. WD40 is great for heaps of things. Release agent, lubricant and of course water dispersant. Thanks for watching
