If you haven't experienced it yet - you don't want to leave the shackle on while you are digging, eventually it's going to get hung up on the quick connect coupler.

That's cool you guys can dig in the winter time too!! Were you using the Trimble system for your grade on that?? And lastly do you wish you would have gotten a excavator a bit bigger like a 8ton?? That way it would be easier to load material/ex directly into the truck...that 6 tons reach is kind of maxed out don't you think? The reason I'm asking is because I'm trying to decide between a case cx55b or a cx80, I'm digging out driveways mostly and retaining walls and some times I just don't want to bring the skid steer to jobs!

+R&S Services Yes i was using the trimble for this. And no the 6ton is the perfect size for us for the work we are currently doing.

Are you able to reuse the material you dug up ?
@DirtNinja9 жыл бұрын
+VideosByAl Not for this project. This was a permeable paver driveway so the base is all clean stone. We hauled the material to the shop and it will be used for fill at a future job site.
