That's a dream machine for me ! I'm using a deer 4066M lots of manual work and patience. Good on ya for getting at it ! Keep up the good work

From past experience removing stumps with my CAT 305, once you can get an oak stump to "wiggle" some, try pulling on the side of the root ball to spin the stump somewhat to weaken the tap root.

I greatly appreciate the advice! I’m definitely still learning the way the stumps come out and having a blast doing it! I’m open to any tips that will help me get these jobs done faster and better 😊🤙🏻

I realise that a ripping tyne is another expense to an already expensive excersise , but if you have a lot of stumps to do , then maybe a good investment thoroughly recommend it.and get your machine over the stump more to gain leverage .

My two cents. Get yourself a hydraulic quick hitch. Makes changing attachments much faster. Yes , you do lose a little break out power, but remember, you’re not in a mass excavation machine, it’s a detailed machine that’s often asked to do big machine jobs. Next, get a ripper. Makes stump removal a breeze.

You played with that stump long enough. Your boom pull and bucket curl are your strongest movements. Get under the stump curl and pull. Should come right up. Then rather than playing with it just pick it up.and move it........ This is just operator inexperience. Over time and more stumps you will get more efficient.

These machines are fine. You need the ripper they sale for those. Makes easy work

i have a 2013 305, great mini excavator, strong little guys, couple tips for you, your pull and curl are the strongest, not that back of the bucket pushing stuff, plus i noticed you had to stop operating to use your hands to track…don’t do that, you have to get use to tracking with your feet only…your going to get in trouble one day and need to track and pull yourself out of a jam, and wear your seatbelt in that open cab machine, you may shoot yourself off it one day! great video!

Ya one thing that needs to be done is welding plates on the petals for backtracking, things are stiff
@njonebale78892 жыл бұрын
@@juledoren i know what you mean, but the way the pedals are cut they are made so you actually hook your boot soles onto the sides under the pedal to go backwards, give it a try.

Painful to watch.

I mean in all fairness this was with just a couple hours total of seat time soon after I bought the machine. Learned a lot more technique to make me faster, safer and better overall 😅 I’m open to any suggestions though 🙏

You did great for a couple hours of seat time. I guarantee you did as good as anyone else commenting when they only had a couple hours.

Yeah I’m sure you weren’t painful at all to watch when you first started!!!

@@hunterjames3167 So it wasn't painful to watch?

@@TreeMillionswasn’t painful to watch, at all. It was rather good for being so new, I’m sure a year later and you really got the hang of it. I typically find those that talk the most shit usually the least capable. Been pulling levers 37 years and the only way to learn is in the seat, period. You did fine, ignore these assholes that seem to think they’re gods gift to operating. You didn’t hurt that machine at all, you learned it’s real world power, you pulled a stump and didn’t die. Those are all pluses, keep going bud, yer fine with that machine.
