In my defense, I didn't weld it the first time. I let my brother in law do it lol. We only had 1 pin and I knew it was gonna be screwed up. Yeah we get out of hand when we're together. KZbin would not approve

I will have the video out tomorrow of the install. And a little saw action at the end. This one will be just for grabbing and bucking. And to help process limbs through the wood chipper. I would love a feller type saw head.

Where did you get the pins and the ears? May be needing a pin grabber to mount to a mulching head for the 308. The price I got today for the pin grabber (ready to mount) was a bit pricey. Thinking it can be built cheaper than the quoted price. And NO I'm not going to weld it. It would be best if it didn't break and fall off the excavator. 🤪

Lol. I got the ears off ebay. I believe there's a set of them on there for a 308. Was about 300. I got the Cat dealer to get me the pins. But you can get those from ebay too. I believe I got about 450 in the materials and pins. The metal for the plate wasn't but 20 bucks.

If you have a good machine shop around your town, they should be able to fab them up, I actually went and bought a 4’x4’ plate of 3/4” steel and took it to my local machine shop and they fabbed up brackets for an auger and a wood splitter, they turned greaseable pins for the brackets and even welded the brackets on each piece for like 450 bucks each…check into it.

@@smithworx1091 Been looking on ebay for the ears. Can you point me in the right direction. I believe I will just use pins from my ripper. I don't use it much anyway.
