@kirk4674 күн бұрын
@ oh millwright, I didn’t know what you did for a living Lindsey! Our shop has done a lot of work in the paper mills in Louisiana! Conveyors and setting up computer platforms above the paper machines, that’s a hot job above those paper machines! Tank jobs and other things! Most of our work for the mills was in the machine shop and mostly machine work and some welding! Scrapers and showers, but the coolest thing was when they were get a new roll of paper started coming out of the machine and started on the roller! Crazy way it was done but that was long time ago! Last 10-15 years of my job was coded vessels and piping for other plants like PPG, CITGO, CONOCOPHILLIPS AND A GLASS PLANT CALLED WR GRACE! Then Louisiana Pigment here in Lake Charles! Good luck with everything and especially your job Lindsey, hope to see you in the future! Y’all stay safe, warm and healthy this winter season! 🙏🏻🙋🏼👋🏼👋🏼

That should get some work to cut loose for you and everyone else Lindsey! I don’t like to bring politics on utube but that man is what everyone needs except the idiots out there! I'm interested to hear which way you prefer your thumb switch? I like mine to close when I push down. I have a 304 and a 312 and they are backwards from each other. I don't know which way is "correct" if there is such a thing.
@smithworx10914 күн бұрын
I like mine to close when rolling down also. When you think about it, it's just more natural to curl your wrist and roll down on the thumb wheel. That's how my brain works anyways. You can swap your electrical connectors on the thumb valves to make it a lot easier than swapping around hoses.

Long time go see it looks like working on machines is doing good for you all of the other excavating KZbinrs are starting to worry about what the future holds I watch letsdig18 and he has two Volvo 220s and he’s just now picked him up a brand new Volvo 350 so now when he go’s to dig with his 220s he says they feel like a teaspoon how’s your other tonkas doing?why for the down sizeing in excavators I bet your brother rook is not likeing you going back to running smaller excavators I have seen rook with cotton top 3 a lot that’s very impressive truck that he has Tim cotton top 3 loves the shit out of that truck of rooks when I use to be in the logging buisness I use to burn all of my brush and then the loomanady came along and outlawed it so that I could not burn my stuff anymore but when I was burning it I would let the stuff sit for about half a year and then I would light it up I was doing all of my logging in California back then and the loomanady got so strict that my family had to go out and get one of those veermeer brush chippers and chip all of our brush from our ranch and eleagal tree jobs that I was doing I never went into doing tree work big time because of all of the loomanadys bullshit welcome back

@ yah the pieces of the good ole days are being taken away from we the people of the United States rather fast in fuckedupped days and times if the loomanady would just go home this world would be a better place and now there just not giving our weapons to these other country’s there giving them long range misels now if they keep up this bullshit of giving all the other country’s our stuff those other country’s will be useing our own stuff against us it will be another Pearl Harbor we got all of our steel back at Pearl Harbor because we were giving the chinks all of our scrap steel and they were useing that steel to build planes and bombs with and now were so close to nuclear destruction it’s not even funny I liked what you replied to me with that’s is definitely true sometimes I find myself going back to the old school ways of doing things but by doing things the old school way all of the loomanadys bullshit is going to catch up with me and I’ll up in jail or in prison again welcome back

I was a heavy equipment tech for years and did a lot of work with owner operator guys doing clearing and dirt work. Plenty of my very successful clients were very green when they bought their first piece of equipment. Some started it as a side jobs that turned into a full time business with employees. Some guys couldn’t take the 9 to 5 so they re-mortgaged their house to buy equipment. Others were able to pay cash for used equipment. I think starting with used equipment can be the easiest way financially but can easily go bad in a hurry. Have a mechanic, accountant and lawyer available for any profits and you are set.

One benefit of using the mulching head for clearing or reclaiming overgrowth is it gets rid of the debris you might otherwise have to contend with in some other way, ie burning, hauling away, burying. Then all you have to deal with are the roots or small stumps. All the limbs, small tree trunks, leaves simply disappear or become chips or dust.
