Nice video. I have a 310 and it’s a beast. With that machine you wouldn’t need a larger one. I also have a 306. I like to be on both ends of the spectrum and skip a lot of machines in the middle. That said a 306 is an awesome machine. Couldn’t do without it. It takes care of anything I need it for up until I need the 310 if that makes any sense. Get all your really large canopies down for the most part and the 306 is all you’ll need for anything. And it’s a weight that you could haul around if you needed to. I also have a 305. There’s a big jump between the pre next gen 305 and 306 next generation. But again about the 310, my dealer mentioned to me that a lot of people had parked their larger machines for a 310. I get it. I have a 69,000 trackhoe and I’ll tell you, I can load a 40 ton off-road dump truck almost as fast with my 310 and 40” (whatever inch) as I can my large hoe with 60” bucket. Good info, I have a 306 and I would like to go 310 one day but was thinking I should just go up to 315ish but you’re making look back at the 310 ha. And yeah, the 306 is a beast for it’s size.

I’ve wondered the exact thing I have a 305.5 that’s good for any job up until I need something bigger like a 310 or bigger. That’s were I’m stuck on buying another machine I have the 305.5 a d6 and a 289 skid and a single axle dump truck and lintel trailer. I can’t haul the d6 it’s 50k pounds but I can haul about a 30k machine and I feel like I should go with about a 313. 310 is a little small for land clearing and a little to big for small jobs imo

A 310 would be the next machine I would get. Just a dream at the moment. Also dont forget about the stick steer feature allowing you to use the right joystick to move the tracks. Aloha

I have a 306 and a 317. Just picked up a 310, planning on removing the blade this weekend as it doesn’t real ply add any to the lifting capacity. It is also is in the way to dig over your idlers. Forcing you to dig over you sprockets…and that’s rough on the pins. Has any one done this yet?

I have a 309 on order! Glad to hear you made it out alive from your accident, could've been much worse. Also, you may want to consider getting a suction cup for the GoPro. Most guys, in excavators, suction it in behind them for the best FOV. The constant head turning became hard to watch.

Yes we all start somewhere but pushing over trees is a job best left for operators with more time in the seat and dose not mean that they get right and it gose tits up

I understand, thanks for looking out for me! Full disclosure, I have pushed trees out with a dozer, my 299D3, and watched really experienced operators pushing trees. Sounds like you've got some experience, how am I doing?

@@theMTNman your doing fine just watch the tree for dead branches but what why the tree is leaning one more it is all best to use 12 inch bucket for pulling trees and stump and rock keep up the work all the best from Ireland
