What a great video. Ryan did an amazing job of presenting the NextGen technologies and Brian's walkaround of the 335 taught and old hat like me a few things. I am a heavy equipment operator trainer for one of the largest construction companies in Canada, North America for that matter with 40 years of experience operating heavy equipment throughout Western Canada and having an opportunity to learn more detail about Cat's latest equipment is rewarding. I've created NextGen training modules for our heavy equipment operators and I like the way Ryan presented that discussion. It has inspired me to rethink the training module to see if there is a better way to present the discussion to provide better clarity to operators. I've found that newer operators embrace the technology quite quickly, but I need to find a better way to encourage senior level operators to adapt to utilizing the technology. Great video guys.

I run a next gen 323 at work took me by surprise how easy the tech is to take advantage of the e-track feature is bad ass the push button start threw me off at first but overall they're great all around

Those feature are 4 children operators,like cab avoid,e fen,and grade controll,let say u set your grade for five foot and that land are not level so if your machine climb on loose material u are screwed,good features for novice

You guys talk about lowering costs for owners. But there is one major cost that no manufacturer has talked yet is the tracks. There are times in heavy wet clay it takes operator's an hour and a half at the end of the day to clean them which takes time away from other maintenance work that the operators have to do. So a owner has to pay an operator on average an extra 2 hours a day to clean and maintain the machine. Please let me know what changes Caterpillar is taking to lower these costs for the consumer

320d model is better because 1 the counter weight ,and those eletronic controll,the touch has been taken away nex gen is not what u would think how cat excavator should work , work like shit

Are you on the master operator setting? I don’t think the guest setting will let you make too many changes
