I've ran the older 390s fantastic power with the right bucket. Company I'm working for bought this model, excited to move some earth with it. Thanks for changing the lights. Be as careful as u want they're the first to go. Stick out like a fat thumb

Very impressive excavator from CAT. This 395 appears to be a huge upgrade from the 390. With all the added steel in the critical stress areas, I would think this 395 model has much better durability. To me this is the way to go as a heavy equipment manufacturer. The big increase in quality and durability is of paramount importance.Smart business decision by CAT to bring such a rugged product to the heavy construction industry.

Thank you for showing all the tec. Control patterns. On the smaller CAT that I was lucky enough to get on cleaning up storm branches The public brought all there clean up to are big park. We had dumpster rotation. So I was on pile of wood, branches what have you. The Dipper with bucket you could clip car body on pull in. Just something you had to watch on operating. I like that you can set cut out of control before it hits house or frame. We were changing operator fast, as we worked on a 12 hour shift. I got to do Dumpster diving like for 4 hours, then we switched, to going out and doing more street clean up. So you worked FAST. The department Director wanted the dumpsters filled before the transfer Garbage trucks picked the full ones up. That clearance where bucket will hit house on the CAT we had, you had to watch yourself. So glad the Engineering design that STOP into system. Like I said, do not operate these every day. I was on pile of storm clean up. They switched us workers around often. So not use to excavator. It would pulling in hit house or say contact points on frame. I so wish they had that Tec. Control on machine we Rented. Great machine for us. It was so fast.

Richard H YES the tec. That they have added all ups the price. What's your guess on cost of machine Will they take my 1978- 190 Dynahoe on trade . Sense my backhoe is BE. They took over ownership of BE mining. What say you my Friend. I always loved the look of, now this is going way back the CAT 245 excavator's I heard the 235 was built so you did not have to remove so much to Lowboy it around.

Damn that's awesome. When I work at the quarry I always had to count my buckets with a counter while I fed a crusher with an excavator I've tried to see if the boss would demo a newer cat but he don't really like cat. I like cat equipment always have.

Tons of money for engineers when all they had to do is watch KZbin videos of welders fixing the machines. That's a great machine.

I operate a 352F, is there an upgrade for the climate controls? The dials are a pain, needs a programmable touchpad or something. My 05 Honda has one why doesn't a 1.3 million dollar machine have one? Constantly have to make adjustments, it sucks.

What about a quick tach for a excavator that size?

I’m going to be operating this model tomorrow. I did learn something. One question… if you want your controls to respond slower, how do you change that?
@rp16452 жыл бұрын
I am so wishing I did your job, just one day FREE no pay me. Just to operate the beast. You are Lucky my friend. I know you spend long days in that cab. But what you have at finger tips is so A+. Just the fact you don't have to scratch the screen with DIRTY hand by using the lower screen control nob, seems like someone looked at screen wear. Remember the first JD JD 690s. The gages at your feet. I saw one at Richie Brother's, you could not read or see any of the gages. Two glass cover were broken.

Why don't the side panels have the holes so it can breathe and suck cool air in the engine compartment
@rp16452 жыл бұрын
Brad just kidding on my comment. The DEF takes care of that. But you right. Miss the old machine, that you could slide the doors or panels open. Those old Jimmy's screaming sucking all that fresh air in. Yes more ventilation

Alot of these machines are used in colder climates and it will get to a point there to when the machine will not warm up its so cold. Need proper insulation for as many applications as possible

@@bradkaberline5828 YES Loved operating a Dynahoe in the late 70s Dug the side sewer stubs on mainline sewer job going through easement. It was for a huge housing development. I ran a Case 680 Hoepack Very top heavy. A Case 780 with outrigger that spread out a mile. I Loved the Dynahoe so much I bought one in 2003 it had 8000 hours on engine. Leaked like a sive, no brakes. I got her anyway. Had the leaks fixed ( resealed ) cylinders. Hydraulic pump overhauled. New tires. I have put 100s of hours on her. I just got it for my big back yard toy, for garden. YES your so right just a big boys toy, for me. I love turning over the soil in my garden each year. I grow CORN. It the most hardy crop, that will always grow, just add water. I start them in red beer plastic cups first, then transfer them to ground in rows with string to make them straight. The backhoe has come in so handy when we cleared area for new shed in yard. Trimming trees( wife raised me in bucket with pole saw) to trim tree branches. And take out my broken cement driveway plus Japanese maple that I took out. Hated the leave clean up each year.

Don't like the hydraulic tank behind it the cat? Tomorrow's to have Larry's behind the cab and you smell at hydraulic fluid all day long. You should have kept it work with that.

How much does the 395 bucket load
@FinningCanada Жыл бұрын
It depends on the size of the bucket, the density of the material, and how the machine stick and boom length are configured. Recommended bucket sizes range from 3.0 cubic yards up 8+ cubic yards depending on: material, configuration, and application.
