You'll have to do a time-lapse video one of these days.

clean dress work. red velcro represents Plenum, so don't show the boss. i personally would have dressed a little service loop before exiting the wire manager. And would have used the support bars that came with the patch panel.....overall 7/10.

how would you go about replacing a bad cable or port on the patch panel? just run a new line and leave the bad one in?
@djrequest3335 жыл бұрын
anthony castro typically yes. Cut the cable inside the bundle at a point where it won’t be noticed then try to dress the add about where the old cable was.

I'm a little unimpressed by this. You drop the ball at the termination. There's a lot of slack variation, none of it is parallel. Your use of Velcro reveals you value functionality over quality. You didn't put any effort into training the bundles into shape, they all droop below the termination. The work as a whole is good enough, but it's several steps below amazing.

Morgan s. There's reasons for the way the cables are terminated that way. One of them is because these cables are Cat6a, so the cables need a longer ratio bend close to the panel. I made them longer also because we were gonna install POE switches below every patch panel , the main reason for that is because I would be easier for us to fix, add or service the cables, plus we wanted to mount support bars in the back but the client didn't see the need of them.
