Holy crap!!!!! First why would anyone unload a tracked, or any, piece of equipment on a slope like that? Then when they were trying to pull the truck forward why didn't they track forward with the loader to help out the truck? Some people do not need to breed.

I've been an operator for 15 years and a hauler for longer than that and most of the danger from heavy equipment comes from loading and unloading in bad circumstances, ie,. Sidehill, wet, muddy, steel on steel, etc... This was both foreseeable and preventable, bad call boys, bad call.

The only possible solution would have been for the truck and trailer to slowly drive away whilst grandpa tracked forwards...but what a game... even grandpa gets out on the wrong side of the dangerous fallen dozer !

Solution, Rig chain dozer grampa is on, pull with other dozer so that the dozer gramps is on is off of the trailer then the truck can slowly drive out from under the dozer wich would only need 3 inches to clears while traffic is being blocked by traffic control (three guys, two stop signs, walkie talkies, etc. )

Should have used heavy duty Rubber Mats......even woven style rubber mud flaps work good... I have also used Rubber tires......it works great!! No sliding at all......ask any lowbed Driver

I am by no means a machine operator, and have no experience other than small backhoes, and skidsteers, but.......why not just have the guy pulling the lowboy just inch ahead as granpa does whatever he needs to do to make the right side track move forwards?? Am I an idiot here, or would this not work?? Seems a lot better option to me than just trying to rip the trailer from underneath the machine with the track NOT rotating in unsion....wow.
