Full story is pretty sad. Fum, the cat, died at only 3 years old with a feline kidney disease. But what a true bond and friendship. They saw the value in being training partners. Fellows of the hunt.

This is fucking amazing. At first I was like "YEAH I DON'T THINK THEY'RE PLAYING" but then I realized they're ACTUALLY PLAYING. They're like buddies. The car rubbing itself on the bird, the bird teasing the cat by flying low (repeatedly, so obviously its intentional!).. it's unbelievable. That cat really likes that owl. Not sure how much the owl's enjoying it or just putting up with it.. but it says something when the owl is constantly hanging out next to the cat. This is so cool.

I love how cats who develop friendships with birds seem to realize, at a basic level, that bird bones are fragile and break easily. In every instance, the cat is cognizant of its size and strength and goes out of its way to not hurt the owl. At one point it even "leapfrogs" over the owl so as not to injure it.
