I think she's good - but no better than that. Quite like her voice. The lyrics are very predictable. The music is decent...but no more than that. She's a great looking girl and looks very visually marketable. If you go to 20 or so or so open mic nights dedicated to original music - I'm pretty sure you'd find 3 or 4 solo artists as good as her or better.

First, Cat Burns has a great look and voice. The lyrics are strong and clever. But the melody? I'm hearing quite a bit of this kind of melody construction, and it is boring. Four chords played over and over again. I hear it in contemporary worship music, as well. And Taylor guitars highlights their new AD17 instrument with this song? Yawn.
