I had the pleasure of breaking three bolts off doing the same job on my 3406e. I couldn't get the housing split so I had to drill out the bolts...yeeha

Just an fyi, you don’t have to pull the housing to change that hose. I just changed mine in my driveway. There’s enough of a gap between the two nipples
