I’d love to see them cycle side by side to see which machine is more productive, I’ve always been partial to Cat but that Komatsu 375 is a beast! 💪💪👍👍🙌🤟🤙

I have a question bud what is the difference between the tracks on the cat D10 that looks like a triangle compared to the komatsu flat track it was the track set up different can you please explain I've always wondered that

@@beavis8167 Well that design happened before I came along, but from what I have heard the design does 2 things that I know of (maybe more that I don't). 1) it keeps the final drive up out of the mud, making it less susceptible to damage so it lasts longer.. 2) final drive and transmission are more easily serviceable, if you look the transmission basically "plugs" into the back of the tractor. Maybe I should clarify, I was system engineer for all the electrical and electronic stuff.

Besides using your eyeballs you would know when the material falls away and the machine sounds and feels different.

@@sarragount5141 I can not really expand on that statement. You have to do it to under stand, but maybe driving a car up a a steep mountain grade is similar. when we crest the grade your car will gain speed even though we do not depress the accelerator any further.

1) Keeps the dirt, mud and other debris out of the sprockets. 2) Less shock to components.

this is a gravel quarry. off roading in iceland on unmaked roads is ilegal so dont do that

@@icelandicmachines2824 I know, and don’t damage the moss. There are enough marked roads that are very challenging and remote was what I meant. Snaefesjokkul was one and some others in the western fjords had me wondering if I made a mistake but there was no turning back. Glad we rented 4wd with decent ground clearance.
