Nice work. Nice to see that old Cat working. It sounds so good and brings back a lot of memories, and that pipe sounds great, when it’s idling sounds just like my old Cat. Thanks for the vid. 👌👌👍

Excellent video, rebuilt several of those old horses, tired of offshore fishing, rigging up a D6R LGP to go play in the woods after first of year, having Solesbee's build me a rake/spear combo, you have learned the power of the videos to send your customers up here and see before and after results, keep the videos coming

Hey Steve great to hear from you! I didn’t think you could completely hang it up lol. Thank you for kind words sir and merry Christmas! Your videos were really cool I still watch them, you should make more!

This is a D8H 36A because it is a gear drive (direct drive). No overheated power shift transmission. Most were 275 horsepower, about 40 more than the 46A power shift.

8hrs heck! More like 10 to 12 or more sit on d814a from daylight to dark! Fueled up after with headlights and flashlight! We where gentle on clutches, dropping blades and twisting to tight in loose ground! If you broke it you fixed it!

I agree a nice rebuild. Sittin on one eight hours wouldn’t be bad, try seven twelves. Make hay while the sun is shining! Right.

Word of advice, you best start easing the master clutch in a little softer or your gonna be changing the cross shaft in it. Trust me it aint any fun to do, i learned the hard way.

Reminds me of my 14a D8 days, we ran a Rome underctter with no center breakups because in Oklahoma running oak roots would ball up instead of sliding thru. Like to seen him hit a big stump, I've seen a many big oak stumps, you had to back and dig out! Roll them out your way and cut thru where they where!

Awesome video of something I've never seen on the east coast. What will be farmed on that ground? That machine will still be running in 20 years and the tier4 junk will be parked with electrical issues Einstein couldn't figure out. Thanks for posting Jake 👍

Hey Mike great to hear from you! The ground will be seeded with costal for live stock. You’re absolutely right about the new machines being junk, the old stuff still rules!!! And merry Christmas my friend!!!

Nice video! The ground shears in the middle of the plow also push the roots to the surface where they can be easily raked.

Great video but if I saw somebody jerking in the clutch the way you do on one of my tractors, they would off it in a heartbeat and lucky if they didn't get a boot in the ass on the way off

@@jakesbackhoedozerservice7010 agree, wouldn't want her to stumble in front of the machine. Lost a pet like that in winter one year. Mom was the unfortunate one to run over family pet. Just keep Sugar safe.

@@Drew6709 you reminded of the time the landlord's beagle chased a rabbit in front of the MF-540 Combine . The rabbit made it across but the beagle made into the Combine hopper with the soybeans . We spent over a hour getting the Combine back to the barn and washing everything out . It's always best to leave the dog at home unless you have room in the cab for them .
