Wait...a peel off base coat over the builder? That is genius! I use a peel off because I'm bad at back filling and don't want to soak off but I didn't even think about being able to just remove the design and keep the builder in place. Awesome video as usual!

Oh I love Daily charme! A little pricey but So, So worth it. I ordered a cat eye polish from Amazon and was disappointed. Even bought magnet from home depot because I thought that was the issue. Those pockets never happen on myself with luminary but I see it on my clients nails and wondered how it happens! And thats what I do is cut it out with my efile.The only thing I can think of is as the nail flexes with the product that maybe it pulls in the middle where most of the pressure may go??? It’s always in the middle of the nail when I first see it. Sometimes I don’t file it out until it gets close to the free edge. It’s so weird!!!

It can be cause by nails that are too long for the client and their lifestyle, or using the nails as tools, or they are off balance. It’s like a teeter totter, and the center of the nail takes the most pressure and causes the lift ☺️

All gel nail products need to be cured in a UV/LED nail lamp. This is what hardens the product. ☺️

Hey! Great video! I'm just curious to know what kind the pigment should be so this look can be achieved? For example, I have a dark colored cat eye, all of my pigments are dark as well + they're not see through at all. Will they work, in that case?🤔 Thank you! ☺️

You’re going to have to try it and find out! You could always try it on a swatch stick first ☺️ most likely if the chrome powder is not see through, it will cover up the cat eye underneath. Also it can’t be just any pigment, it must be one specifically for chrome ☺️ hope that helps

I coincidentally did a reverse of this technique a few weeks ago. Black polish, buffed gold Chrome into it and then a silver cat eye polish. Unless your cateye has a really pigmented base colour that should work and get you a similar effect.
