That's me taking care of the cats in my trailer park I've fixed as many as I could afford too couple years ago currently trying to catch and. Fix a boy someone left behind again. When you mutilate an animal like that it alters not only their hormones but also their personality. I have two INTACT cats. One male, one female. They complement each other. They don't spray, or roam, or fight. In fact, THEY SHARE EVERYTHING, food, litter box, beds. Never fought once. (Intact males are A 1000 TIMES MORE AFFECTIONATE and friendly) THIS TAKES A TON OF WORK!!!! NOT EASY!!! Worth it though!!! I rescued both from coyotes on a farm I used to work. Not much to do on a farm other than watch the animals. I spent years watching the cat colonies. (LONG STORY SHORT). When her heat comes, I let them mate one time. Cats are induced ovulaters so she can't get pregnant the first 24 hours of mating. After that separate them. (I still let them see each other, just no mating until next heat) This keeps both of them from roaming, spraying or fighting, or contracting ovarian or testicular cancers. (They still call which sucks) but they also have their amazing personalities. Hell, the male won't step ten feet out the house unless I'm with him. Morale of this long ass dissertation is, give a tomcat/ queen what he/she needs and they won't roam. If you don't have the time like I do to train and supervise, then mutilate/fix the cat.

@@joem3999 that is great and I believe in letting cats be cats,but there is big difference in control and no control. I used to allow my girly kitties to have litters. I actually interviewed people to adopt my kittens and did home checks as well. But homeless cats and dogs have very few people to help them...😼

I just bought a 16 lb pound bag of different cat food for my four cats and for almost two days they would not eat it. I wish I could explain to them how lucky they are to get their food in clean bowls. Too damn picky. I will give the Kitty food to the foodbank, and just give these things their regular food and know they are what they are...and I love them.

We had that problem tonight. Banshee had tinned food put down for her and she hardly touched it. Turns out that she wanted mince. I gave her a little too much and she through it up. A bit rich for her tummy. She's doing fairly well, 19 next year.
