CAT Filters vs normal Filters... First fuel filter change

I change my CAT fuel filters for the first time and show the comparison from them and factory OEM filters! I also install an afternoon Amazon air filter that I love so far and will be doing an update video on that soon! I hope you enjoyed the video!!! I had a shop install this kit while they where doing some trans work. Yesterday I noticed they put the fuel filter where the water separator is supposed to go and the fuel filter where the separator goes… 😖

Did you use the small o-ring on the fuel water separator?

Were you able to get your water in fuel light to go off and if so how did you do it

Yes, I opened the drain on the rear filter and let it drain for a good minute

@@HoldenPowell_ what about the sensor that is on the bottom of the stock one where did you plug that sensor to?

@@bigtimebarone21 if it’s the one on the front one your talking about then I never plugged it back in, I believe it’s a heater plug for the old one but I have had no issues in 3 years with it and being unplugged!

@@HoldenPowell_ no on the stock one where the plastic drain was on the bottom of the filter there was a sensor that plugs in on the chassis it is the water in fuel sensor it is attached to the drain that unscrews and screws back on When you get a new stock filter

@@bigtimebarone21 I left that sensor plugged in and just drained that filter it for a short few and then let the truck run for a short few and it cleared on its own
