Thanks a bunch for this video. We are working an off grid even next this weekend that will require us to have our phones charged and to run a salt lamp. I like that it uses a USB-C for the recharge as it should be able to be charged by the inverter in our Jeep in the interim whilst up at the event. This is a good place to start for our first unit. Thanks! 🙏🏼

Great video one question that it leaves unanswered is what type of block I have to plug into the wall to charge it when the battery goes low. Can I use the same block that I use to charge my iPhone to charge the unit?
@Toolspecs

Yes just a phone block. You can use either a USB-A or a usb-c block, both work fine but of course usb-c blocks charge way faster.

You show, to charge the unit itself, plug the USB into the port on the unit....what do I plug the other end into...? I don't want to use a block plug that I insert the other end of the cord and then plug that into a standard household plug-in and ruin the unit by attempting to charge with too much power. Do I plug the other end into a USB port, perhaps, on my computer...???

The battery was halfway charged, as I expected. I plugged it in to charge, and it indicated charging by the battery indicator moving up. A couple minutes later it stopped doing that and just showed half a battery with no movement. Then it the screen would just go blank (went off, I assume). So I tried to charge something else from the battery to see if it would work the other way, but it wouldn't charge my phone or my computer. So I tried the AC plug, and it worked. And the air worked. The light worked. But it's been two hours and I can't get it to charge.
@Toolspecs

Great tutorial. I bought it yesterday and after fully charge the display shows 12.4 v. I saw some videos made by other people with 12.7. Is it normal that I’m not getting more than 12.4? I’ve also read that it should be charge 20hours during first charging.
@Toolspecs
@Toolspecs 11 ай бұрын
Anything over 12.4v is just what we call a surface charge, it will settle back down to 12.4v which is fully charged. After the unit reach full charge, there's absolutely no point in keeping it on charge for longer.

@Toolspecs

@BarryVeristain yes your wall plug can push this much power but the power block like cellphone power block depending of the block only let 15w to 100w. Look at the small print on the block and it will tell you.

@arlinpena4739 it'd go8ng in protection mode. Your trying to charge a battery that's to low or completely dead. A battery jump is for batteries that are above 8v-9v that are barely cranking the engine. The amp draw for batteries that are lower than this is to high to jump them, you have to charge them with a charger instead. Hope this help.
